I admittedly wanted Carr gone. I don’t hate the guy, in fact always wanted him to succeed with us. However, I just think we gave him way too many chances and could see he just doesn’t have what it takes. Kinda felt like he wanted to be a Raider partly because he knew we gave him every benefit of the doubt for so long.

Even though I kinda wanted whatever team got him to get the “Derek Carr Experience”, I wanted him to do decently.

New Orleans fans HATE him. Like not how Raiders we’re frustrated of seeing the same inconsistency for 10 years, but more of a Josh McDaniels type of fan hate. Go on X and just search “Derek Carr” trending posts. Go on r/Saints and just scroll. I mean it’s BAD.

Even though I thought it was time to move on, I feel really bad for him. He is back up material. Jimmy G doesn’t even get this kind of hate from us.

To top it off he got SMASHED today by Bruce Irvin. I pray he’s okay.

That being said, please don’t come back to Raiders next year LOL

it’s not really his fault, our dumbass fans are just looking for somebody to blame apart from the… 20-45 garbage HC??

I don’t feel bad for him at all. I appreciate everything he did but I don’t buy the narrative that anyone did him dirty. He got paid very well and has had chance after chance after chance.

Saints fans hate him but I mean that’s how it goes when you don’t perform. He hasn’t done anything for that franchise. With us, he at least made us not a joke and had some nice highs. So no one really hated hated him, just wanted to move on.

Nice guy but he’s straight up playing the worst ball of his career right now. The issues with the offense are the same ones they’ve had under their regime last year though. Raiders fans know Dennis Allen is a horrible coach. From what I can tell, their OC is god awful. Their Defense is underperforming as well.

Anybody who puts that much in for that long and can’t get it done gets props from me. Good man too. I’m still rooting for the boy but all I can hope for now is that he gets some nice cushy backup gig and finds himself a ring. RN4L🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

Carr will break a quarter of a billion dollars in career earnings before he retires. Don’t feel bad for him.

I liked Carr. Wish it worked out and wish the exit was more amicable but our time with him passed. He clearly wasn’t the answer. Saints are finding that out now
