Mastermind De Zerbi bringing on the slowest player in the league against Mudryk.

Also Brighton repeated diving in the 2nd half, not that the ref bothered to book them. Joke of a team.

Joke officials too trying to give Brighton a pen for the ball hitting Colwill in the head.

What was that confusing last minute referreeing? BHA shot into Chelsea’s defender face and deflect out. Check for possible hand ball even it’s clear as day not? Then check complete and no corner? What is the ref doing?

It wasn’t a corner because the ref called for a penalty before the ball went out of play. That got overturned, so they gave a drop ball - even though the ball would have obviously gone out of play, the game stopped when the ref blew the whistle.

We played horribly. Up a man for an entire half and only scored once. Yes, the refereeing was insane, but we have to play better

If you don’t like chaos that gives you a heart attack, you don’t like Chelsea football

Can someone explain those last 5 minutes to me?

Ball hits defender square in the face and goes out. VAR check handball. Recommend drop ball. Goal kick given.

Where is the corner? Why use the furthest camera in the stadium to check for handball? Why are Colwill and Sanchez getting into a scrap with their old teams?

    What?

Chelsea is going to have to find some midfielders to put on their bench for yellow card management purposes.

Backing-in mid-air and almost break someone’s neck is not even a yellow when a clean tackle with a slightest contact to the ankle by the follow through is a straight red. Can’t understand this game

That was way harder fought than it needed to be, especially in a period where we have 3 games in just over a week. Still, hanging in there should be big for developing some of the players’ mentality, especially after last week.
