I think not. What do yall think?
Sure? I don’t see why this matters as he’s probably not here next season and he’s definitely not going to start for us anymore (willingly).
Sure. By all accounts, he’s a good locker room presence, as well as a vet for AOC to bounce stuff off of, and I don’t think he quit on the team. He just couldn’t transcend JMD’s shitty coaching.
Honestly, I’d like to see him get a game in without JMD. He was ass in that system, but maybe some improvement without his bullshit? Who knows

Yes - he’s a Raider. He stepped aside in the most amicable way possible given his situation.
He’s seemingly been doing what he can to help AOC. I’m sure Hoyer probably gave him some perspective of “you can either embrace the mentor/back up role, or take the Cam Newton approach and be a Free Agent forever.” I think Jimmy will be a great back up for the next few years.
Let’s put it this way - if we draft a QB, I’d rather have Jimmy G in the QB room with a rookie QB than AOC next year. Not a knock on AOC, just from the veteran presence and intangibles.
Nah, he’s a patriot.
I’d say so, not his fault McZieg thought he’d be the guy
Why wouldn’t he?
Guy has been both an injury risk and building poor performance off of his latter career poor performance - things we knew before he came in.
Not his fault JMD blew the team up to bring in his guys. And we’ve had a few decades worth of poor performers on our roster.
So what’s the argument for why he wouldn’t be accepted by this fan base as a Raider (other than the usual smooth brain pablum takes we too often see on this sub)?
Yall know what, y’all changed my mind. Dude did take the bench like a man. He didn’t ask to be benched, but the shitty system he was in with McDoofus fucked him up. He didn’t put in his dues on the field, but off the field, he didn’t give up, and that’s heart. Raider Nation is about heart.
I’ll sit anywhere and a hold a clipboard if you pay me 20 million dollars lol
He is not the QB that is going to donut for us but I think he is a solid #2
He will probably be largely forgettable in the long run. Seems like a good dude so his lackluster play over a half season probably won’t be remembered too much
I’ve always thought he was ass lol but he didn’t cause any issues and he does seem to be a good teammate so I’ll give him credit for that.
I love Jimmy G if I’m being honest. Dude was brought in to win. He wasn’t able to for whatever reason maybe he’s not good enough. Dude stepped aside and took his benching like a man. From all accounts he’s trying to help AOC. That’s my guy honestly. Have nothing negative to say about Jimmy. Once a Raider always a Raider. Plus dude seems awesome to chill with to grab a beer or what not lol 🏴☠️
He’s not gonna get rejected but he’s just gonna be another guy that wore the jersey and forgotten. A footnote in our history. Irrelevant.
“who?”
