For the last 1.2 years (2.5 if you count the dualbooting times) I have been using Ubuntu as my daily driver. I am thinking of changing to Arch, just to colourise my knowledge of Linux.

One of the main things that requires a lot of performance on my PC is gaming. It would be nice to have a similar experience at least.

Installation will not be a problem. In fact, I will install Arch the hard way, as I already did once in a VM and I installed Gentoo a few times to go with it.

Thanks!

Debian is real strict in us case of software. Along, you use packages that made for Debian and config them, like the user guide concern, Debian is really handy to use.
If the personal decision brings someone to more individual setup, with Debian can cause some trouble. With Arch, all Software in use, comes from one place. Personal I like the documentation of Arch. Is for my understanding one of the best in case of gnu/Linux. For this reason, Arch has a long and hard learning curve, but every energy, that put in the system, with a lot of patience, it is possible with Arch to reach the personal goal.
