I don’t want congratulations (I didn’t really read anything after the first couple lines of that), I want to understand why you think luck is the reason the win happened. If you go back and look at the 5-3 power play Canada got, there is a consistent pattern of failure to execute. That’s not luck. The US played better defense and the goaltending was superior. An instance of superior performance is about as far from luck as it gets.
