My house has some cables running through it already but I had a guy come by to see if we could run some more and they said short of tearing down some drywall (then patching it back up), they wouldn’t be able to run cables at all. Seeing as my house is not even half a year old yet, I’d rather not do that (mostly the mess would be annoying). There are a few cables which I can potentially use to connect a couple Unifi Bullet Cameras (AI Professional most likely) to in one corner of the house, but nothing that would be able to reach the front.
I am considering getting some WiFi camreas for the front, and perhaps just running the power cable to an outdoor outlet or something. I was looking at the G4 instant, but is that one actually any good? Can it handle rain and other weather events (being outdoors 24/7), etc?
