    recently i’ve been listening to the soundtracks to both final fantasy 6 and 7, both games that i’ve started but never finished before. there are some really iconic tracks! and, it’s interesting thinking about how ultimately the instrumentation for them is pretty symphonic, with the addition of things like guitar, a drum kit, and synths. i think for symphonic sounds i definitely prefer soundtracks to any modern “classical” composer out there nowadays.
