The Swiss government will continue to withhold payments to the United States for a Patriot missile system order until Washington provides binding delivery dates, adding that terminating the purchase is an option, it said on Wednesday.
So US needs Patriots for the war in Iran and started redirecting production there. The order placed and paid for by Switzerland was delayed indefinitely.
Switzerland stopped paying for the order until they can get new delivery date from USA.
USA simply took the money Switzerland paid for F-35 and redirected them to pay for production of Patriots.
So if I get this right, Switzerland will not get Patriots nor F-35s and US will just use its money to pay for war in Iran.
Now Switzerland says that they may just cancel the order which will probably mean they will lose the money they already paid and get nothing.
Oh this is like the the Swiss version of AUKUS and submarines for Australia. US can’t be trusted

I hope one day we mature as a species and abandon militarism. It’s a VERY faint hope. Until then, yes. Build your own.
They are not even very good apparently
They are good if experienced Ukrainians operate them. In the gulf they suck.
They’re incredibly expensive to use, drones aren’t. They’re using patriots to fight drones because our military is a bloated corpse that hasn’t won a large conflict in decades. We’re going to burn billions and it’ll cost the Iranians millions. The Iranians learned from Ukraine, the US appears to have not.

They are worthwhile for incoming missiles, but expensive overkill against drones.
It makes sense; the seller was found not to be reliable and not delivering on its promises. Perhaps it is time to find other providers.
From now on, any and all American weapons paid for are liable to be seized and pressed into US service with no compensation for the buyer, as is Trump tradition.
Do not buy American weapons. Tell your governments not to buy American weapons, if you have a government that listens.
Patriot missiles are still the shit?! Nobody on earth made a new thing since I was a kid playing DOS games about taking out scud missiles?
They’ve been updated over the years, but the basic platform is still the same, same explosive yield, but new guidance systems and such.
Turning over the couch cushion and finding a cure for cancer and a trillion dollars is also an option.
