Donald Trump said Sunday that if no peace deal is reached with Iran in the next 48 hours, “we’re blowing up the entire country.”

The president made the threat Sunday to ABC News’ senior political correspondent Rachel Scott in response to a question regarding whether his previously stated timeline of two to three weeks for a deal was still accurate.

Concerns have been raised about targeting civilian infrastructure in Iran and the consequences that could bring.

When a person has the means to commit genocide, is inclined to commit genocide, and has promised to commit genocide, does that create a moral imperative to kill that person? Asking for a friend.

To think that in the interest of electoral fairness, we let this guy be president again instead of putting him in a prison for life where he absolutely belongs.

To any democratic strategists out there who might be reading my post, if you want my attention, start getting your candidate to talk loudly and often about how they will punish Trump and every single member of his administration on Day 1. Lifetime prison sentences for Epstein related coverups. Hangings for treason, war crimes and crimes against humanity. Lengthy prison sentences for fraudsters who are insider trading and former DOGE staffers. Restitution to be paid back to the American taxpayers for the theft and embezzlement of tax dollars. Anything less that that is a mockery of justice.

100%. All these people saying we can’t win on MAGA Punishment can go to prison, too. I have my pet issues too like Universal Health Care and Campaign Finance Reform, but I recognize that we’re NEVER get this country back on track and reach a point where we can address those issues in good faith, until we deal with MAGA as the genuine National Security Threat that they truly are.

My candidate is the one that says, “The moment I’m sworn in, I will issue arrest warrants for every MAGA leader, and send them to Guantanamo Bay for extensive interrogation.” We will audit every account they controlled, personal, business, and governmental, and charge them for every single count they violated, and confiscate their entire fortunes and assets.

That’s the candidate that I will support. Any that blurt shit like “We need to come together,” is automatically disqualified in my eyes.

Lol but Democratic strategists don’t want to win, they just want to have plausible deniability against the claim that they’re trying not to win. Their real goal is to figure out how to convince people they’re incompetent. Your strategy would make people actually vote for them, after which they’d be expected to follow through on those policies which would hurt their donors. Even if they did do that they’d have to go back to playing incompetent while in power to make sure it didn’t happen

At this point I trust russia more than the US. Even a few months ago there at least was the semblance of a democratic system left, but by now its clear that the US is a dictatorship in all but name.

The things Putin does at least make sense from an imperialistic point of view, but trump is a literal toddler throwing a different tantrum each hour.

Both can rot in the deepest parts of hell as far as I’m concerned though.

Yeaaaa lol my personal view is that any powerful country pretty much sucks. But I do think its so funny how even most very lefty Americans still hold up China and Russia as the ultimate examples of evilness. Even when calling ourselves evil we have to do it by calling Russia and China evil in the same breath, as if to comfort ourselves that we’re not the only one. The propaganda against those countries is truly strong here, which of course is helped by the fact that they both ARE quite problematic as any super powerful entity is

You have to take into consideration that the dumbest people are often the loudest- what we’re seeing is a equivalent of the village idiots screaming while throwing shit around the room because they’re afraid of losing the space they’ve carved out on social media. These are the dumbest humans on the entire planet- less resourceful and less intelligent than ancient neanderthals. They exist solely to pull the human race down, and the fact that their comments are often rife with the worst takes you’ve ever seen and some of the worst grammar possible is a testament to their functional illiteracy. They can read and write, but they’re wholly incapable of rational and intelligent thought.

Have the day you voted for got as a result of election rigging.

And I don’t say this as a “sore loser”. I say that trump rigged the 2024 election, because in August/September/October of 2024, trump had been saying repeatedly that he rigged the upcoming election.

Then towards October he was saying there won’t be a need for any more elections. That it was fixed so hard that he’s already the president forever.

Now, lack of fundamental understanding of mortality aside, he’s essentially admitted that he’s corrupted our government from the inside.

And you know the fucked up part? He won’t face consequences. If someone in a position to change things finds evidence, that evidence won’t be released until the year 2100. They only released the JFK files last year. He’ll be long dead by the time anyone comes out and says there was a corrupt election.

John Kiriakou (ex CIA whistleblower) mentioned in an interview that Israel threatened to use a nuke in the 12 day war last June which prompted Trump to bomb Fordow and Natanz with B2 bombers.

Zionist fanatic Sheldon Adelson advocated nuking Iran a few years ago. Zionist war criminal Ben Gvir was asked on israeli TV why they haven’t used a neutron bomb on Iran yet and he grinned.

Theres a real danger that Netanyahu uses a nuke or orders Trump to do it given the Zionists 30 year desire to destroy Iran. Trump is just a puppet.

Imo he has been looking for any excuse to launch a nuclear bomb since he first became president. I don’t even think he cares why, how, or who he ends up using it on, even if it’s his own people. As long as he gets to use his ultimate power as president and press that big button. And as long as he isn’t personally affected he won’t even give it a second thought.

I firmly believe he WILL nuke someone before his term is up if nobody stops him. I firmly believe people have already stopped him before.

He is the only person stupid enough to do it. I feel they’ll carpet bomb Teheran or something like that first, but since the army of Iran is decentralized it won’t do much. It would be a great excuse for the martial law in US if he drops a nuke. His insanity and the death cult around him makes him so fucking dangerous. Hegseth did a purge in the army, if they have only yes men left they will have no pushback from them.

Nevertheless, even he wouldn’t nuke them right now, Israel would. What the president would do, is bomb their nuclear reactors making a dirty bomb of sorts.

there is no big button that trump presses, that is the myth. the suitcase being carried with him, for some strange reason called nuclear football, is basically just a sat-phone that connects him to some joint chiefs operations center. from there, there is a long chain of command leading to some soldiers in silo somewhere, who actually have the button. anyone in that chain of command can still say no and break the chain.

bad one, since it can give you really incorrect impression, like “trump can one day wake up and press the big red button”. which he can’t do, because there is no such button. good metaphors try to help understand the thing they describe, this one does exactly the opposite.

Uh, interesting (and horrifying) theory. I wonder how his bootlicking allies would explain that away. Like Germany’s Merz going “we have to evaluate first whether dropping a nuclear bomb really constitutes a war crime. Maybe it was warranted and he had good reasons to do it” and then just never speak of it again and pretend everything’s fine.
