I know it varies with industry but there is no way I could afford to live in Sydney or Auckland. I’ve had LinkedIn pimps offering roles there and I tell them it better come with free accommodation or I’m not interested.

I don’t get why anyone would bother now. My brother is doing alright in London but they’re relatively well off.
Never lose hope. Also, for those young people who are raising families already we need to make it as positive as we can so that the little ones will be healthy and resilient to face the future.
