This is less related to actually existing “AI” and more about one of the myths (or, ultimately, the constellation of myths) that drives people to work on “AI.” I posted this on Mastodon, but it probably belongs here as well.



Awesome, thank you for the typo heads up also. Feedback is always welcome. Between ADHD and sleep deprivation, it’s a real challenge to catch everything.
I enjoyed a different type of takedown than our more usual method of pointing out the weird nested asumptions.
