    Sounded too high a number, so I had to look it up…

    As of early 2026, 34 states still allow marriage under 18 with parental or judicial consent. While most states set 18 as the minimum, exceptions often allow 16- or 17-year-olds to marry. California, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Oklahoma are notable for having no minimum age, allowing marriage at any age with consent

        Hello again it’s been a few months probably, new idea (I think last time I suggest a userscript or something)

        & it’s fun for linguists like yourself b/c it’s a challenge!

        No “th”/th sound character until July - will make many comments take longer cuz it’s a decent challenge IMO!

        Yeah odd for California, maybe they’re trying not to be a nanny state this one time? If you could trust people it might be OK but what kind of adults are chill with that
