I need some quick way to transfer texts between my phone and some remote device, and vice-versa, I avoid cloud features but in this case it’s a game changer to me.
It could be literally just a text editor with zero features. But I need to be able to access it via web on Desktop, and via app on Android.
I tried Notesnook but that’s overkill for me. I don’t need encryption, it’s just some random notes.

Google Keep Notes?
Honestly, I’m surprised this isn’t the top comment.
I use it on the phone, computer (web site) and the kitchen display. I can simply tell G to add an item to a list.
Also, my wife and I have a few shared lists. So either one of us can easily add something to the grocery list while rooting through the fridge.
It ticks all the boxes that OP wants. A solid reliable app.
To be honest I expected to be downvoted because it is a Google thing. We all know what Lemmy’s relationship with Google is like 😁.
