    Well shit. Maybe having your entire economy built around a fossil fuel with a limited quantity, which is also rendering the planet uninhabitable, might have been a bad idea. Oh well, at least you have billionaires, and soon - a trillionaire. Makes it all worthwhile.

        It would make a million millionaires, to be precise. Or if you chopped him up fine enough, you could give everyone in the US $2,800.

          It would make a million people with $1 million dollars. Now let’s give them $999 million dollars. They would still be millionaires.

          Sure, a bit over a thousand of them. But not a million.

          I’m fine with your second suggestion though, let’s do that instead. Or let’s skip everybody with more than a million in assets and distribute to the rest.
