You gotta meet people where they’re at. It’s about the messaging.
I doubt the person who put the sticker there was like “Alright, this is the last straw.” But maybe a dozen people who fill their tanks there will see it and have a moment of self-awareness. Like “Hey, you know what? The sticker is right, this is trump’s fault.”
Not saying most trump supporters are capable of self-awareness, but if it heaps shame on them and makes them embarrassed to speak up then that’s a net plus. And there’s always a few fence sitters for whom this is the line they draw.
Whether we agree with them or not about their complacency pertaining to other things is beside the point.
The idea is that this being the sticking point for people is hilarious.
