This should have been demanded immediately following Brexit as the previous referendum was sold by the “stay” campaign as a way to remain in Europe which was rejected afterwards by England and Wales during Brexit.
Brexit should’ve meant the end of the UK. I don’t understand how this wasn’t even attempted.
If your captor cuts off their own legs, run.
If your captor cuts off their own legs, run.
They are running, but with just one or two steps per year.
I would be so pissed if my country was ruled by another country and that other country forced our country to leave the EU despite the majority of my country voting to stay.

That’s when you know that “#democracy” in your country does not actually apply.
It’s not my place to say what the Scots should or should not do, but if you think Brexit was messy, separating Scotland and England will be several times worse. That said, I’d happily accept Scotland into the Nordics, together with Estonia, I feel we share a lot of the same values and culture.
The UK government would have to transfer powers to Holyrood for a second referendum to take place - but Labour ministers have repeatedly said they would refuse to do so.
But Labour ministers have repeatedly said they oppose democracy and the right to self determination despite their socialist founding principles and constant modern marketing that they’re for a better society.
