Looks like they know their base is so stupid they can make them hate good things just by saying it’s left. They used to hide it better.

Also there’s the possibility it’s a plant and this is reverse psychology. I dont know this person and i trust no one now. They’ve done that enough times i wouldn’t be surprised.

that reminds me of that Obama Skit on Key and Peele where Obama just listed republican talking points and the republicans couldn’t help but disagree with them because it was being proposed by a liberal.

    Politician called “far-left”.

Expectation: Installation of an egomaniac dictator, which will lead to cult of personality, crackdown on speech and expression based on said dictator’s feelings, and installing loyalist to key positions.

    Reality: Bare minimum policies.

Unironically, yes, they can’t govern and are sick of it, they have much more fun and get much higher ratings when they’re in opposition and not in control.

Literally just pro China propaganda, they are doing exactly what they did in Minnesota and California, they are funneling your tax dollars to foreign anti-American bad actors.

And the data center thing wether you agree or not is still bad for America AI competitiveness making it good for China.

No such thing as a free lunch literally they can call it whatever they want but it is actually for advancing China Interests.

Oh shit. I’m in Wisconsin and didn’t know who was running to replace Evers. I knew he was retiring. Thanks for this, now I know I’m voting for her.

You sure about that? The rich will have to pay your childcare! Also, you’ll earn at least $20 an hour. Also, your money can’t go to overpriced food, because the state will own a place that sells food. On top of that, there won’t be any datacenters, so you will be left with enough water, enough electricity and enough land! Doesn’t it sound much nicer to have no taxes for the rich? Imagine what they can do with all the money they now don’t have to spend on the other people in society. Imagine a world where they can “invest” all of their wealth. Doesn’t that sound much better? Think mate!

To be fair, Wisconsin doesn’t really have an issue with water supply. We are right next to the largest bodies of fresh water on the planet.

That said, US politics is so bad that this platform is legitimately further left than like 95% of electeds. If this candidate is a Democrat it’s likely that her own party will favor a candidate to her right in primary and if she beats them, possibly still not throw their weight behind her in the general.

Remember that the leader of the Democratic party is basically a domestic spokesperson for Israel and refuses to acknowledge support the most popular politician in his own party.

I’m beginning to wonder if someone more left leaning has infiltrated fox. The boss say “put together a hit piece on the demonrat”, “sure thing boss” says our mole, before turning over this graphic. To the boss it look great, surely no one could support this! To everyone less poisoned, it looks a lot more enticing.

It’s always funny when Fox puts up radical left wing policies like taxing billionaires and supporting families and then have to scramble to take them down because even Fox viewers read them and think they sound like a good idea.

Yes! I’ve been thinking the same thing. This was posted yesterday, and the lurker part of my brain said “surely someone else has already had this idea”. So I checked all the comments, but it wasn’t there. Then the lurker said “they’ll say it soon, and in better words”. And it was right!

      Anyway, thanks!

Fortunately* you don’t live in Wisconsin.

Born and raised there; a DSA governor is a fucking fantastic step in the right direction. I’ll mention her to my family but…

Wisconsin is the south of the north. I regularly drove past a Confederate flag. Milwaukee is the most segregated city in the US (or was, havent checked recently) and the GOP leans into that with a lot of ugly rhetoric.

This article is getting a little long in the tooth but is a quality deep dive into some of the very thinly veiled (or outright) systemic racism in Wisconsin.

Also; rural Grindr made me sad for queer men raised in that environment, including myself.

I just wanted to know that your last statement brought me a bit of comfort today, thank you. I’ve been feeling a bit isolated here, since, well, ever, but was never able to make it out yet :/ I’m not that rural, but anywhere outside of Milwaukee or Madison is pretty bleak.
