      I had a friend say to me “she just makes sense”… and yet there is no part of me that thinks anything she speaks of makes sense

        The worst bit is there’s no polite or soft way to tell your friend which is where the division kicks in.

        Hanson just punches out simple forms with grievance and no substance.

        It hits me right in the smug. We were the last sane democracy for a while there. Still plenty of time for an implosion before the next election though.

        I guess because, like most populists, she uses very simple messaging to dumb down complex issues so that anyone can understand them.
