Just wanted to say it is crazy that even the fictional dystopian US has more public transport than the real one.
It’s because it’s set in the future, that’s the only reason why. Oh and they seem to live a “You will own nothing and you’ll be happy” reality, i.e the government owns the assets and is the one shipping people from district to district when appropriate. So maybe “state transport” is the more approriate term
That being said, I love The Hunger Games! It was so nice to find a series that i wanted to sit down and read back to back after having a dry-spell in my reading
