So I’m 21 year old guy and I’m planning on traveling to Hungary by myself next year and I’d like some advice about the trip, this will also be my first time traveling by myself in general.

So I’m not sure how long I’ll be going, maybe like a Saturday to Saturday trip so maybe 6-7 days in the country. Overall first I’ll go to Budapest, see all the tourist spots like the castle of buda, the palace, the different plazas with national statues and other buildings in the city. I’m not sure what other towns or cities to travel to in the country, I only really know a few but I love small rural towns and neat areas in general, so if anyone has some advice on where else to go to I’d love that. I’m also not sure when a good time it is to go, I can either go on my spring or fall break or during the summer but knowing the best time to go would be nice. I also have no idea where a good place to stay would be or what restaurants to check out.

Overall I’d just like some general advice or even people opinions and experiences, as I think Hungary would be a nice small country for me to start traveling solo and overall I love Hungarian history so that’s another main reason I’d love to go.
