He cited the fact that Microsoft made $101 billion in profits, got a $12.5 billion tax break from Trump & paid its CEO $96 million.
Corporate tax breaks don’t create jobs. Real change needs to happen to balance this wealth inequality.

As a society we’ve made huge gains in productivity. But instead of those gains being invested in society as a whole or we all simply working less, all of those gains have gone to the 1% and we all end up working more, not less.
That’s why I get so upset when people say AI will do all of our work and we won’t need to work anymore. Beside the fact that’s total BS, it hasn’t worked that way for a very long time, what will change now?
I’ve had a conversation with several coworkers trying to get them to connect the dots between “you get paid by the hour” - “if you produce more per hour, you don’t get paid more” - “the owners keep the profits” - “they’ll never let you just work less”
I have similar conversations with coworkers that end with “and that’s why we all ought to start working less”.
