I’m German, that should explain. We can’t even say “Muslim” without already being accused of that silly word

That’s not true in my experience. Maybe try to step out of your bubble. To be honest, it sounds a lot like a hurt “Das wird man have wohl nochmal sagen dürfen”. I don’t mean that personal, but that is the vibe I get.

No, not all are like that. But they all accept it

I cannot follow that argument and I think it is a pretty dangerous way of thinking. It means a person is responsible for another, because they belong to the same group. It’s like saying a west German protestant is responsible for the opinions expressed by the evangelical fascists in the US.

And I despise all religion from the depth of my heart.

I am also an atheist, but as I got older, I learned to respect the life decisions of other people and don’t judge them. I am very critical of institutionalized religion. Trust me, fuck islamists. Nevertheless I try to separate a man from his beliefs, and I would never make my muslim neighbor responsible for the suffering radical islamists in the world are doing to people.

I meant it a bit exaggerated, not absolute truth. Though i did notice this is a touchy subject here.

Well, if you joined the Nazis, you are a Nazi. If some subgroup is nicer than the others or have slightly different rules, or you’re just in for the cool uniforms but hate the ideology, it does not matter much, does it? They all more or less follow the same scripture. Either you’re someone running along having no clue, or balls deep into it. Religion isn’t different. You can be the loveliest Muslim ever (and yeah sure, individually they can be nice), you’re still member of a cult that marries kids, owns women and kill the non-believers. Maybe not in germany, but elsewhere.

I am also an atheist, but as I got older, I learned to respect the life decisions of other people and don’t judge them. I am very critical of institutionalized religion. Not an atheist but an agnostic. Though that doesn’t matter. That might work great for you being tolerant and all, but i can’t and don’t want to be. Calling “them” islamists and the “others” muslims is also a weird thing. Who gets to say who is a “true” muslim? Those islamists also think they’re the true muslims and our soft-washed are worthless and would also be killed. Not every muslim is a terrorist, but most terrorists are muslim. I see a muslim out there and for me (s)he is accomplice to everything ugly this religion does.

As said, tolerance is a great thing, base on compassion and empathy. I do have a lot of that, but injustice I cannot stand. I could be the most piss-poor pakistani in the most region bumfucking nowhere, i would not treat my wife as property just because some ancient book says i could. and everyone else says i could. I don’t need moral guidance from others. Owning people is wrong, period.
