I agree that journalists should be paid; that’s not my point with the link from the bot. It shared a link that required payment to that specific news source. Is there a link to a source that doesn’t require a subscription? Or perhaphs shouldn’t that link have been identified as being behind a paywall?
I’m saying that paying for the newspaper is the best way to get past the paywall, in my opinion. Then the journalists can keep getting paid without the business having to get creative for who can give them money in exchange for them to be able to keep putting out the paper (which doesn’t improve the quality of the news when it happens).
