    Upon a quick Google, “kick in the can” does ring a bell, but I’ve really only heard can used slangily in the toilet sense.

      Lol that doesn’t ring a bell for me. It’s amusing because I’m sure it’s super common somewhere I haven’t lived. My spouse told me a new one the other day. I didn’t recognize it at all.
