Shut down the oil and gas industry for some real fun. Maybe we’ll figure out why Texas never established sovereign wealth from all this goddamn extraction and refining that poisons the environment.
I went to the article hoping to learn more, but its not an article. It’s a blurb. It offers pretty much zero information. Who are these “City Leaders”? What does that even mean? Are they city officials, or just like, Kathy who runs a community plant nursery?
The headline makes it seem like the mayor and other officials will be sponsoring this, but the lack of info makes me think this is more like the latter of my examples and these “city leaders” don’t command much of a following. In fact, the absolute nothing of an article doesn’t even call them “city leaders” beyond the headline. They are suddenly “community leaders”, which again, what does that even mean?
I’m with you, idk. Maybe there will be more information later.
Not sure if OP changed it or the website changed it but the headline states “community leaders” which would not be city officials but rather people like pastors, community activists, or whoever else the MSM wants to label as a ‘spokesperson’ for an entire group of people whether they actually are or not.
