Because voters rejected Amendment 4, proposed state constitutional amendments brought by the public will still require a simple majority to pass once on the ballot.

    Man, I will never understand how the people of this state can consistently vote for progressive amendments while at the same time voting in these shitheads who keep trying to undo them.

      It’s generally pretty simple when voting for figureheads.

      Most of the time:

      • if life is good, people vote for the current party
      • is life is bad, people vote for the other party

      This happens locally and nationally.
