Clark’s Spool Cotton. There was an endless set of these made in the late 18 and early 1900’s. It was a little hard to follow what happened to the company, but it seems it merged or was bought out. If you wikipedia Clark’s Thread Company, you are forwarded to a page for Coats Group, which is a still extant textile company. Coats was a competitor of Clark’s in the 17 & 1800’s.
