Bestie, you used kind sounding words but you were literally a jerk telling someone who’s experiencing a heatwave that they’re lucky. Do you seriously not see how problematic that is? You’re not special because you didn’t say the specific words “That’s not hot”.
People literally fucking drop dead from the cold too. And hypothermia can set in from 10c, so about the temperature I’m having to wake up in and get ready at 3am in my cold and damp house from the 60s with no ac or heating.
I very much doubt you have zero heating, that’s illegal under the housing/tenancy code of every single state where it gets that cold. Otherwise I dunno, get a better landlord or go to your state’s housing tribunal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
