MAGA and moderate Republicans (if there are any left at this point) wants to make it look like the entire left is Hasan Piker, and thus moderates disavowed him before they are harassed with all the indefensible things he has said and done over the years like some DSA candidates are dealing with now for biting this bullet
Most communists are pretty critical of Hasan for being a reformist, rather than a revolutionary. Further, Hasan’s views generally align very closely with the DSA’s views, though the DSA isn’t democratic centralist so there is quite a lot of regional variety on the party line.
