    I like believe the clock system does not exist to micro manage me but it exists so I can use my collected overtime for a day of

      That’s good if you can do that but unfortunately that’s how many of my coworkers ended up with 500 hours of overtime lol. Some of them now have to work 4/5 at 5/5 pay for the next two years to compensate.

        5 o’clock is still 5 o’clock but I travel with public transport so I tend to be a bit early and eventually that will add up to a day or compensation for when the train does not drive

            Update on public transportation: Today once again my train was cancelled because it broke this caused the next train to also get cancelled and the next train I was able to take to still come on time for work had a 10 minute delay this caused me to miss my bus and forced me to wait 30 minutes at the bus station in the rain

            Pretty good delays are a problem though they are not big 5 minutes most of the time I used to go to school to a nearby town and a different train to that area left almost every 10 minutes work is a different town though. Yesterday there was some unexpected railway construction so I get to go with the bus and showed up and hour later because of that
