What about the guy it’s named after, who’s invention killed tens of millions of people?
Or the hundreds of people it’s been awarded to despite all the bombings that they did
Or the billions of people who DON’T have a prize named after themself.
Supposedly he was quite upset about that and created a prize to honor people who contributed the “greatest benefit on mankind”. Some consider it a rather noble use of his fortune. However, this story may be apocryphal.
Portugal has two Nobel prizes. The other is Saramago, for literature. Both will mess your mind, in different ways.
