I’m used to WiKKKipedia, where the stuff on WW2 is like:

“Stalin used the war to fan the flames of nationalism and increase his power, Russian hordes, human wave tactics, the Soviet occupation of Eastern Europe. Something something, Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact. Here’s a link to warcrimes committed by both sides.”

Thank you, TV Tropes, for not repeating and rephrasing Nazi propaganda. You’re definitely not perfect, but you’re better than the other wiki.

I honestly wouldn’t expect to see this in TV Tropes.

It’s like when Garth Ennis in The Boys portrayed a communist character positively. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

Interestingly there’s a lot of communist editors on TVTrope, Wikiquote, Wiktionary even something like Urban Dictionary. A comrade who’s wiki editor told me that they even put protection around pages that have edit wars by feds and liberals. One of such examples is the page that ousting Rob Evans as fed agent.

I stopped watching after the first three seasons. It’s worth watching the last two, I take it?

The show is a mixed bag in my opinion, and the character the comment was referring to is Love Sausage, but he is not a communist in the show, he’s actually pretty irrelevent and villainous. However, in the comics he is very heroic and a genuine pro-Soviet communist.

This is pretty surprising, since reading their YMMV pages on 1984 and Animal Farm feels like taking a sledgehammer to the face.
