Good god, this reminds me of when my liberal feminist cousin started losing her head about the phrase ‘I’m just a girl’ and went on talking about how women fought and died for their right to vote, then started spouting some bullshit about working hard and how she ‘liked the old style capitalism’ (FDR era social democracy) and the proceeded to drop THE N WORD for no reason (she is not black). How is it that you can be so close, and then completely miss the point so hard you end up going from left wing to reactionary 😭
