@jordanlund I mean it seems like the surprising part is that there’s no evidence the Chinese government suggested this course of action, directly or through Chinese intermediaries.
The primarily western leadership team seemingly decided to do it on their own? It could be that there’s still further buried evidence that bridges the final gap, but that’s a bit different than what we thought happened.
