I am using the following hardware: AMD Ryzen 5 5500, Nvidia GTX 3050 and 32 GB of RAM.
And using Ubuntu 23.04 as my distro of choice (I am not as tech savvy and might end up breaking things if I tried to install arch)
Anyways, to the meat n potatoes of this post:
On my Windows partition, Cyberpunk runs at a consistent 70-80 FPS. But on my test Linux Partition I get anywhere around 60 FPS in the best case scenario down to 45 FPS if I even move slightly.
All of my settings are set to High (The way I usually run the game at)
Any idea what could be causing such a drop in my FPS? And if anyone knows how to increase the FPS on a machine that is CLEARLY capable of running it at consistent 70 FPS?
Edit: By “not as tech savvy” I meant that I am not as willing to experiment with my data being erased by accidentally entering the wrong command during the installation process. As Arch does not have a visual representation of what I’m doing.
