I know how to disable them in BIOS. But i want them on to save heat and electricity bill. However some games but not all, like Path of Exile, don’t work well with them. Every time the cpu goes into a c6 or c7 state, the cpu latency jumps from 5 ms to like 30 ms, which is really bad. I could use Idledisable 1 in power plan, but that completely disables ALL c states meaning the cpu runs at 100% speed and very hot temps constantly. I don’t want that, i want to disable only c6 and c7 state, maybe c5 too. The solution is obvious, some toggle or switch on a software inside of windows that manually enables/disables them so that whenever i launch such a game i can simply disable them. But the question is, what is this software? Does anyone know?
