I have a MSI GF63 Thin 9RCX, it has an i5- 9300H, 1050ti and 8GB of RAM.

My problem is the GPU will go over 90c - 95c while the usage will be around 50% - 60% according to Afterburner, it literally gets so hot that the laptop can’t be touched. I’ve since replaced the thermal paste which helped some and adjusted the fan speed in Dragon Center to prevent the GPU from going over 85c but sometimes it still does. I’ve also limited certain games to 720p (lowest resolution available), low settings and limited the frame rate to 60 but there’s hardly any difference.

I’ve seen people recommend undervolting the GPU on these particular laptops just enough to lower the heat but without sacrificing performance.

Where do I begin?
