I ask because my partner and i both decided last year we would start doing a little language learning in our spare time, and it’s been quite nice to have that “back to school” feeling again after so many years.
Same, I’m familiar enough with latin that it really helps (tho not fluent or anything) but my vocabulary is pretty small, and almost all of my grammar has faded away (if I even learned it at all; I got a pity pass the last class I took). My kitten’s name is a french word and I almost misspelled it until my friend reminded me that having an X would make it a plural 💀.
