President signed the legislation championed by late senator Lindsey Graham last month but has waived the restrictions as they were due to come into effect

Maybe “the West” no longer exists. There’s just the US and then there’s Europe, and each of them is doing their own thing.

Why do you say „You seem to think China simply existing after all this is a threat“? How could you possible arrive at that conclusion?

And same with Russia, every war with Russia has always come from Europe attacking it. Now is no different. And the reason is obvious, same reason we always attack someone.

Nah, I consider Russia a threat for attacking other countries, conducting hybrid warfare against European countries and threatening nuclear attacks multiple times.

That weird statistic again, we haven’t attacked the US, Russia, Canada or Australia or China. Pick another hill.

“Hybrid warfare” is your “It’s coming right for us!” Give me a break.

Millions of former Ukrainians stopped being “Ukrainian” the moment their democratically elected government was overthrown in a US bankrolled coup.

Democracy is derived from the individual and nothing else, not race, not religion, not ethnicity, not arbitrary borders, and not even nations themselves.

People have a right to exist, not nations.

          masturbatory gestures

The people of the Donbass are also people. What’s your point? Once a nation or border is established its somehow undemocratic to change that? People being tied to land is serfdom, feudalism. Land is tied to people.

Mince words and gishgallop all day, a coup is a coup is a coup is a coup. And FFS, I’m older than “Ukraine”.

And even it’s founding was undemocratic. The first Soviet Referendum saw almost unanimous consensus by all the Republics to stay in the USSR, INCLUDING UKRAINE.

I guess it didn’t go like Gorbachev wanted, so the pizzahut munching drunk imbecile threw it out.

America has never once supported democracy that wasn’t profitable to America’s oligarchs, and always at the expense of the workers everywhere.

Dude, I don’t even know what to say. If you cannot see that a foreign power invading isn’t democratic, we don’t have the necessary base of principles to talk.

People being tied to land is serfdom, feudalism. Land is tied to people.

That is a highschoolers take on this topic, come on.

And even it’s founding was undemocratic. The first Soviet Referendum saw almost unanimous consensus by all the Republics to stay in the USSR, INCLUDING UKRAINE.

That’s almost 40 years ago, what’s your point?

America has never once supported democracy that wasn’t profitable to America’s oligarchs, and always at the expense of the workers everywhere.

This is a non sequitur but at least we agree on that.

So D-Day wasn’t “democratic”? Fuck off.

40 years. Yes. I’m older than “Ukraine”.

This is all you need to know about the West’s adversarial nature toward Russia. Same reason as all of our wars.👇

Right, Ukraine is comparable to the Nazi Regime that had conquered large parts of Europe and declared war on the US, and Ukraine being younger than you somehow justifies a war against it. It seems you’ve eaten up so much Russian propaganda, your brain is fried.

America has never once supported democracy that wasn’t profitable to America’s oligarchs, and always at the expense of the workers everywhere.

                D-Day was democratic

                Make it make sense.

And - seriously - what is your obsession with this stupid graph? This is like the 5th time you posted this, as if you expected this commonly known information somehow explains geopolitics.

Natural resources is the only reason we ever fight wars in the modern age.

That’s the thing. America never “defeated fascism”. The Soviet Union defeated fascism. America swooped in to save fascism from beneath Soviet boots, and we’ve been fostering ever since.

                  NATO is the Fourth Reich

Again, you’re victim to propaganda. The SU and GDR proclaimed stricter and swifter and better denazification, even built a anti-fascist-wall, but in reality they not only employed former NSDAP politicians, but even doctors who participated in euthanasia-programs of disabled children. They even helped them conceal their identity because it wouldn’t have the right look.

And the Soviet Union had its own nuclear program with their own Nazi scientists.

It was Realpolitik on both sides, stop ignoring one side’s faults because you like it more.
