A radula is not a single permanent row. FAU says the teeth are continually replaced, so worn structures can be renewed during the animal’s life. The exact arrangement and shape therefore matter more than treating “octopus teeth” as one identical design shared by every species.
Honestly this reassured me that it’s just a fantasy/elaborate joke because otherwise OP would have found out about that. I am deeply disturbed by imagining a poor animal tortured like that.
