There’s four words you thought you’d never see together.
Why wouldn’t I think I’d see them together?
I’ve been to plenty of Korean and Chinese restaurants
Just going off my own limited experience, and when I read it after typing it I thought it looked peculiar.
Valid. But I’ve eaten similar things in Korean restaurants. (And it’s delicious.)

You can use all kinds of veggies when making them.
This was half the batter, and after reading this recipe I’m going to throw so much onion in what remains.
Girl what
This was the reaction I was expecting.
What did it taste like? Can you compare it to anything?
Very flavorful egg fu yung without the gravy.
Would gravy make it better?
Dunno, might try it next time.
This is giving strong Millennium Falcon vibes.
So an okonomiyaki variant
It has a name‽ Looking that up, and man those look delicious. Might have to try a traditional one next time.
The ones I’ve had in Japan are delicious.

We have a tradition of making sushi on Christmas Eve, we always make waaaaay to much spicy tuna and California roll filling (Krab/Spicy Krab). We started making meatballs with em (egg and panko) then adding them plus other ingredients as toppings to Udon. Pretty tasty.
Nu, how’s it made?
Quarter head of cabbage, can of tuna, Serrano pepper, onion, garlic, cayenne, dark soy sauce, toasted sesame seed oil, fish sauce, and complete pancake mix. Fry with a little oil. Spicy mayo is made with chili oil and Melinda’s black truffle hot sauce.
Add eggs, and that’s actually pretty close to Korean tuna pancakes!
I bet you didn’t know you were such a worldly chef.
I had no clue. Makes me feel good to be accidentally cosmopolitan though.
