Glass noodles are a personal favorite stir fry base This one has ribeye, carrots, mushrooms, green onions, and spinach. Looks a little brown but tastes delicious!

Take away everything but the noodles and it resembles gagh (the worms from Star Trek). But yours probably taste better. Trying to make screen accurate gagh… does not allow for taste.
This also moves a lot less lol.
Did you use a super dark soy sauce or why is it so dark?
I think it’s mostly from the fond in the pan, I just use low sodium kikkoman soy sauce.
Ah. I have a mushroom soy sauce and it is nearly black.
That sounds like Uber umami!
