The Redblacks should be easy pickings for the Bombers, so Winnipeg will probably lose.

It looks like Hamilton/Saskatchewan and Montreal/BC will be the marquee matchups this week.

Agreed re: marquee matchups! If the Bombers lose to the Redblacks, then I guess it’s time for Bomber Nation to hit the panic button

Well, it wasn’t a loss, but it wasn’t exactly a win to be proud of.

The Bombers’ defense did a couple of impressive things - mainly stopping the Redblacks at the goal line in that early drive - but they ultimately give up way too many yards. It was incredibly frustrating to see them break through to Dru Brown, only for him to somehow scramble a way and complete a pass in the 3rd. It also sucks that Dru Brown was hurt on the play - I hope he gets back into it soon.

The Bombers’ offense was…good enough to get the job done, I guess.

The team ultimately seems unable to play a complete game, and haven’t met a lead that they’re not willing to squander.

The Double Blue had better get it done against the Elks. Weird season for the Argos. Coming off a championship and they’re impotent. No Chad Kelly (out for another 4 weeks I think), but wild drop off even accounting for that (I think [?]). I don’t mind it that much though. I like parity in a league. What the Ti-Cats are doing this year, for example, is exciting!

First to worst! Since winning last year’s championship, and losing last night to the Elks, the Argos have gone from first place to worst place. I suppose it’s a little easier to do that in a league of 9 teams rather than 30 teams, but ‘impressive’ none the less
