Did the Uk actually steal 45 trillion from India, I’ve seen so much saying that this happened but I’ve also seen some videos saying that they didn’t steal that much and the numbers were raised, or that the number didn’t account for inflation or something. Is this true? What was the real amount stolen? I assume there are biases for both sides of the argument as majority of people who claim the 45 trillion are Indian and the majority who disagree are British. Also if all this money was taken where was it put? Was it put into the development of the country and used for wars? Also how did india even lose so much, they have a much larger population and more land I would think that they could defend themselves better? I’m obviously not so knowledgeable on this subject so I apologise for anyone I could offend with this, thank you.
