I’m in need of some guidance on organizing small academic laboratory projects more efficiently. I’m looking for a straightforward solution to create and manage “projects” in which I can track project managers, project members, and the technologies used for each project.
I’ve explored platforms for open data and IT asset management, but they don’t quite fit the specific needs of our academic setting.
Ultimately, my goal is to have a system where I can search for a person’s name to find out where they are currently working. Additionally, I’d like to be able to search for a particular technology (e.g., Rust) and identify which project within our laboratory is utilizing it.
Any recommendations, software suggestions, or insights into how to tackle this challenge would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
