Hello everyone!

I was wondering how websites were deployed in the early 2000s. Today, we have a lot of fancy stuff (pipelines, containers, cloud providers). But let’s take a step back:

If I were a teenager in the early 2000s, how would I have deployed my website? What technologies would I have used? Has anyone here been through that? I’m curious to hear about your experience.

Here, I’ve expressed my commitment to deploying a website using technologies and practices from 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020. The idea is to revisit the past 20 years of deployment for fun :D
