I am looking to buy a DJI mini 2 to send out and view my property but because I need to buy a used one, I was wondering if there would be a way to safely connect it to my phone or if there is a cheap burner phone I can use specifically for this and send my pictures and video over wifi.

This concern has stemmed from a recent story I read where someone plugged something he bought renewed into his computer and they stole a bunch of his data.
