      Hugs and happy birthday.

Did you discuss with him a plan on talking each day so you wouldn’t feel anxious?

Because I don’t see his actions as being unreasonable, he needs to study and he told you.

Like I said before, what would you have done in the days when people didn’t have phones or what would you do if your BF was in the military?

You would have to trust him and you would have to learn to cope with anxiety, even learn how not to be anxious.

Thank you! I tried to, but he’s been ignoring my attempts to reach out for a week. No calls or texts back. I know he has been on his phone. His friends have posted videos on social media of them goofing around a bit. He probably wants to break up with me if he’s gone this long without talking to me.

I totally understand the studying thing because I am studying too. But to never return a call or wish your partner a happy birthday because you’re so focused on giving them the silent treatment? That really hurts.

Time to give him the flick. You are the one doing all the emotional labour here - he’s coasting and exploiting your anxieties. He has time to goof off with mates, but can’t spend 15 seconds texting you. Time to call it quits and move on.
