Hello m@tes. I have immigrated from lemm.ee following the imminent closure, (and needed to but ana in front of my name because the one I used on lemm.ee was taken.)

Here is just a small thing I made after skimming the comments of a recent popular post. As it is a small image and I’m getting better with Krita this one only took ~35 minutes. Improvements. Yay!

Voting is not the same as approval. We can vote and still rally against the legitimacy of authority.

Yes the state is corrupt, yes the choice is largely superficial. But if we are going to get poison anyway i prefer to exercise any action i can to influence even a little who does the poisoning.

That write up is much more than just “don’t vote.” It’s about fully withdrawing from the system and rejecting citizenship, including all of the things that come with it, like paying taxes and owning private property.

If someone pays taxes, legitimizes the government, and also doesn’t vote… Then that’s likely the worst of both worlds from the author’s perspective.

Listen, if you can find a local politician that listens, that wants to court the movement, that isn’t allergic to accountability, that is actually literate in that field even as they want to participate, that isn’t bought?

You’ve found a mythical creature. You may as well try to do fantastical things like convince Anarchists to vote.

Other than that? Meh, its casual. Maybe spend an hour in line talking to voters about what they really care about, and loudly complain that no party is addressing the real concerns like Ghost Jobs or Wage Theft. Invite the silly vote-enjoyers to go make sandwiches.

    Or don’t.

Just don’t pretend voting (or not) means that much. Go actually do the Mutual Aid.
