I want to use an EKWB Monoblock in my future PC. I have plans to overclock my CPU and graphics card to their max speeds without lowering their lifespans. Would there be any performance gain from using a Monoblock to cool the motherboard VRM? I don’t know if it works this way, but I think that the heat coming off the VRM might blow through some of my radiators and warm the liquid, giving higher temperatures. I’m asking because I want to use one of Thermal Grizzly’s upcoming high performance heatspreaders. (Assuming they make an Intel version, I’m going with Intel in my future PC) der8auer said in Hardware Unboxed’s video that they might not work with EK Monoblocks. I messaged Thermal Grizzly about this, but I just want to know if it would be better to use a regular CPU block if it won’t work.
